I did a half-assed wash and didn’t dry it, pretty sure I used too much soap too. It’ll probably look like trash but, that’s just the way it’s gonna have to be.

I hate black paint.

I've learned my lesson, there will not be another. The 330xi is fine because it's a POS but, I don't want my good car to be black.

My dad’s trick has been to buy dark colors instead of just mirror black.

I was going to wash my subaru today but then I found it its supposed to Thunderstorm on Wednesday (big deal since its the first real rain since April) so I will hold off on washing. There is so much dirt and oil on the road from it just not washing away ever so my white car will be so damn dirty. Especially after driving past the farms on the way to work where it becomes a mudbath almost usually.

I’m glad my car is silver because that means it doesn’t look like total ass when it goes several months between washes when I am at school. If it weren’t for all the brake dust it would almost look clean right now.

I also commute almost 100 miles a day which doesn't help keep it clean. I do like my black wheels because they hide some of the brake dust.

Black is a difficult color.  Most of the time it looks bad ass and mean on cars...but sometimes it hides all the cool lines and angles.  Also...it’s always dirty.  Always
